Q: How do I know the Myolift is working, delivering microcurrent to my skin?

A: The Myolift device has a conductivity bar located at the bottom of the screen, which will light up solid when conductivity is reached, conductivity bar will flash when conductivity is not being held. 

Q: The conductivity bar is flashing; I cannot seem to get it to stay solid

A:  There may not be enough seaweed gel on your skin, try adding a little bit more and placing both probes on skin, conductivity bar should light up and stay solid. There may too much seaweed gel on your skin , not allowing you to pinch muscles correctly. On forehead the conductivity bar may not light up solid as the forehead is a bonier surface, microcurrent is still being delivered. Try using smaller pinching movements along forehead and other bony surface areas.

Q: I see flashing lights when using Myolift, is this normal?

A: Yes, a common reaction is a perception of flashing lights during your Myolift treatment, resulting from the stimulation of the optic nerve. If you notice this condition constantly when not using your Myolift, please consult your doctor.

Q: I feel nothing when using my Myolift, is this normal?

A: Yes, when using the Myolift device properly, with a layer of 7e Seaweed gel covering your skin, you should feel no sensation at all. The Myolift device does not vibrate or contract the muscles. The microcurrent gently stimulates the face with low-level electrical current. You may feel a slight stinging sensation when device is on highest level and not enough conductor gel is present on the skin.

TIP: If you start out feeling no sensation, but during the treatment you begin to feel the current, the 7e seaweed gel may be too thin or may be drying out. You can refresh by spraying face lightly with water or adding more gel. Conductivity bar will light up full black when conductivity is constant.

Q: Can Myolift devices be used outside of USA?

A: Myolift power supply accommodates 110-220 volts which is compatible with virtually all countries. The device comes with a standard non-polarized two-prong plug; a plug adapter may be required for certain countries.

Q: My Myolift doesn't work/turn on when it's plugged into the wall

A: That is a safety feature; the Myolift will not turn on when plugged into a wall for charging. Your Myolift comes pre-charged right out of the box and will last many uses. Only plug into wall for charging needs. If Myolift will not turn on when not plugged into wall and has a full charge, it may be a battery issue and you may contact us for support.

Q:  Is microcurrent technology the same as galvanic treatment?

A: No, Microcurrent works to stimulate and tone the facial muscles. Microcurrent is also known to increase collagen, elastin, circulation, ATP and product penetration. Galvanic penetrates product deeper but does not benefit the facial muscles.

Q: Why doesn't Myolift contract the muscles? How does it tone them if they don't contract? How much current will I feel?

A: Myolift uses microcurrent which is a low-level current that gently and passively stimulates the muscles, working at the sensory level. It is normal to not feel any sensation during treatment. A slight tingling sensation may be felt in certain areas due to the fact that facial sensititivity varies individually. You may get a metallic taste in your mouth area and see flashing lights around the orbital areas, which are perfectly normal and safe; lower or raise intensity to your needs.

Q: Who should not use Myolift?

A: Myolift is contraindicated against and should not be used if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, electronic implanted device, have epilepsy/seizures or active cancer, or are under the age of 18. If you have any medical concerns, please consult your doctor before using this device

Q: If I am planning cosmetic surgery or any other facial procedure can I use Myolift?

A: Please consult with doctor as to time frame needed to recover from procedure to safely use Myolift.

Q: When, where and how often do I use Myolift?

A: The Myolift device is safe and gentle enough for everyday use, either morning or night. We recommend using Myolift devices once in a 24-hour period, for 5-20 minutes per treatment. For the first 60 days we recommend using Myolift once-three times a week for one month. Then monthly /bi-monthly maintenance.

Q: What type of results will I see?

A: Most of our users see results after their first treatment; however results may vary. We recommend taking before/after photos and lifting half of your face to compare. Results are cumulative and optimal results are achieved with regular use. Typical results improve contour along the jaw-line and cheeks, improved skin tone, softer, firmer and smoother skin with a reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. 

Q: Can I use Myolift if I’ve had Botox or Juvederm?

A: Myolift stimulates the muscles and activates them, while Botox freezes the muscles. If you’ve just had botox done in certain area, then you might need to avoid using Myolift in that area, as it will start to undo the effect of Botox. However, if you are in the phase where effect of Botox is running out then Myolift might be better technology to use in that area to avoid usage of Botox altogether. It will take some time but your muscles will re-activate and help build tone and firmness, instead of getting more laxed due to Botox. There is no effect of Myolift on Juvederm and it’s safe to use it. However, you should still consult your doctor. 

Q:  The Myolift was showing the conductivity bar solid for the first few treatments, but now it doesn’t stay solid. What should I do?

A: With unit on, please test the applicator by slightly touching the 2 applicator metallic parts together. If the conductivity bar still doesn’t turn solid then there is an issue with the applicator and we can send a replacement

Q: I used the Myolift machine til the battery ran out, I charged it overnight but it will not turn on?

A: Make sure the device is not plugged into the wall. If it still doesn’t turn ON, it is possible that the battery is not holding a charge. Please contact us and we will replace it.
