Clean Water acting as a solvent and binder.
Vegetable Glycerin
Glycerin comes from both plant & animal sources. Vegetable glycerin is typically made from soybean, coconut or palm oils and is therefore considered to be vegan.- Hydrating the Skin - It is a Humectant and it is Hydrophilic (water loving). Humectants slow water from evaporating and therefore keep the skin hydrated.
- Replenishing Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) in the Skin - The NMF can become depleted with age and environmental damage. Exposure to sensitizing ingredients leads to dry, tight-feeling and flaky skin. Using glycerin restores NMF and hydrates the skin.
